描述:OP9細胞株源自新生的op/op 小鼠顱蓋。因編碼M-CSF的基因中的一個突變,它不能生成有功能的巨噬細胞克隆刺激因子(M-CSF)。M-CSF的存在對胚胎干細胞(ES)分化成血細胞而不是其他巨噬細胞有抑制功能。 OP9細胞可以用于與小鼠胚胎干細胞共培養以誘導胚胎干細胞分化成成紅血球來源的、骨髓來源的和B細胞譜系的血細胞。與OP9共培養不需要外源的生長因子或復雜的胚胎結構。這個系統對研究造血細胞的發育和分化的分子機理有用。
